carnavi® Featured in 2008 International CES

LAS VEGAS, Mon: The all-in-one music, movie and navigation system by Navi & Map Sdn. Bhd. made its international debut at the 2008 International CES exhibition held from 7-10 January 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The carnavi® was showcased alongside other products that feature Gracenote's MusicID® technology, which provides instant identification of songs, artists, and album names.

Navi & Map's carnavi® HD1 contains a 30GB hard disk drive (HDD) with the HDD Audio function which allows high-speed (max. 14x) digital audio extraction (ripping) from music CDs and storage for up to 3,000 songs or 400 albums. Together with Gracenote's MusicID® technology, carnavi® can recognise close to 95% of music CDs, providing song title, artist name and album information. The MusicID® database, which comes preinstalled in carnavi®, can be updated easily by downloading updates from Gracenote's website.

Navi & Map Sdn. Bhd. is proud to have its product featured in the 2008 International CES and looks forward to continuously offer the latest technologies in in-car navigation and entertainment to Malaysian drivers.
