The GPS Mapping & Data Collection team collects field information such as roads, buildings, house/lot number, together with an exhaustive list of Points of Interest, including all landmarks and public facilities such taxi and bus stops, restaurants, banks and ATM machines, to mention a few.

All these information are precisely geo-referenced using sub-meter accuracy GPS instruments, which record the exact latitude and longitude. The data collection specifications ensure total compatibility with all geographic coordinate systems.

These raw data are converted and integrated in the Master GIS Database by the Spatial Database Creation team to generate road network and detailed digital street maps. We conduct regular surveying to ensure our maps and content remain up-to-date.
